Vinti is a mental health professional with over 18 years of counselling and psychotherapy experience. She holds a Master’s in Counselling from Monash University, Australia, and is a Clinical Member and Registered Counsellor with the Singapore Association of Counselling (SAC) and a SAC-registered Clinical Supervisor. She has served on the SAC Ethics Board since 2021 and is a Board Trustee of Sree Narayana Mission, Singapore.
She previously owned and served as a Director and Clinical Director of SACAC Counselling, one of the oldest mental health practices in Singapore. She led the organisation through its acquisition and subsequent integration into a larger international US-based mental health provider. This experience has given her valuable insight into organisational change, high-stakes environments, and the unique pressures faced by founders, entrepreneurs, and C-suite leaders, and she has been assisting entrepreneurs and senior leaders in navigating the demands of high-pressure professional environments.
She supports children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across the lifespan. She works with a wide range of concerns, including Mood Disorders, Trauma and PTSD, Eating Disorders, Grief & Loss, Addictions, Parenting challenges, Midlife Transitions, Work-related stress, and Relationship issues. Her integrative, person-centred approach draws on evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), the Gottman Couples Method, Expressive Therapies (Art and Sand), and Image Transformation Therapy (ImTT). As a third-culture kid and long-term expat, Vinti brings a multicultural perspective to her clinical work. She also has a special interest in supporting women through various life stages, including peri menopause/menopause.
Beyond her clinical practice, she founded the Singapore International School Counsellors Network (SISCN) and provides pro bono monthly supervision for school counsellors. She also facilitates support groups for mothers of neurodiverse children. In addition, Vinti contributes articles on mental health to magazines and has appeared on radio programmes to discuss mental health topics.
Vinti is committed to creating safe, non-judgmental spaces that support emotional, social, spiritual, and academic well-being, helping clients build resilience and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Vinti speaks English, Hindi and Bahasa Indonesia.
