Agnes Teo holds a Masters in Psychology (Clinical). She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and the Singapore Psychological Society.
Agnes has extensive experience in various settings, including private practice, a voluntary welfare organization and hospitals. She treats adults and children in a range of clinical issues, such as, anxiety, depression, and addiction. She also has significant familiarity in working closely with families and individuals with special needs.
Agnes is trained in a number of therapeutic approaches including Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, and Choice Therapy amongst others. Depending on the needs of the patient, she applies different therapies which will be most effective for their presenting concerns.
Agnes is trained and certified in many psychometric tools used to assess and diagnose both adults and children with different profiles.
Agnes has conducted many training workshops for professionals, parents /caregivers and students, covering a wide range of topics such as stress management, behaviour issues and sexuality education. She has also been quoted in local publications and featured in media.
Agnes is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
